Fortunately, the Dutch government also thinks things should be different. As of Jan. 1, therefore, disposables will be banned and reuse will become the norm. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will also be introduced.
This directive states that from 2024, more and more companies will be required to report on their impact on people and the environment. The purpose of this is to create transparency around sustainability within organizations.
